Exsequenda company already has sponsored previous release, and here is a new order :)

Yours truly added a few things of his own, the result is here today: Galette version 0.7.4!

Here is the changelog:

• improve password storage security,
• advanced members search via their contributions,
• titles management,
• export as CSV filtered members list,
• add some charts,
• add SQLite support,
• members per group PDF list,
• ...

Some other enhancements has been added too, and some bugs has been fixed; see complete modifications list.

Please note that Galette now requires PHP 5.3.7 or above.

First of all, a very good 2013 year to all :-) Epiphany will be a bit early this year ;-)

Exsequenda company (which contact me for one of their clients) and myself are proud to present you this new Galette release. It is the second sponsored release :-)

As a reminder, a "Sponsored release" means that some develpments have been paid via my self-employment activity and reversed to the community.

Here are new features that has been implemented for that sponsoring:

• fields visibility configuration (visibles, not visibles or visibles for administrators only),
• advanced search in all members fields (including dynamic fields),
• login and password may now be not required (default random values will be generated),
• improve and fix dynamic fields labels translations,
• help window editing mails texts,
• public members list pagination.

Fields visibility configuration and advanced search has both been requested for a while, it has finally been achieved! A big thanks to Matthieu who make possible to implement those new features into Galette :-)

Galette's development has not been frozen after 0.7.2 AFUL sponsored version; 7 corrective releases has been released since.

And here is the eighth one, that fixes a performance issue on members lists. As an illustration , below a XHProf (a hierarchical profiler tool) resume comparison; so it seems figures say more than words :p

Those performances issues were impacting:

• members management page,
• public members list,
• contributions creation and edition,
• transactions creation and edition,
• groups management.

AFUL and I are really proud to present you that new Galette release, which is quite special... Indeed, that is the first sponsored version.

AFUL is a french non profit organization dedicated to FOSS and open standards promotion.

But what is a "Sponsored version"?
A version that contains developments paid by someone and reversed to the community. TThe AFUL has been this someone for the present release and this via my self-employment activity.

All Galette users (who are the first to benefit from this) and I would like to say a very big thanks to AFUL for their participation. It allows Galette to keep improving and show a real, practical example of a FOSS project development! Bravo!

For that new Galette recipe, the following ingredients has been added:

• improve dynamic fields interface,
• the code that manage those fields has been refactored,
• a button to quickly send mailings to late members has been added on the dashboard.

A few months after the last major update Galette has known; the crew did it again and is proud to present you the new Galette version :-)

It burnt a little as it stayed too long into the oven, but it says to be pleasant-tasting :-D

Here is the result: a keen and crunchy new Galette 0.7.1, wich brings its share of new features, like:

• improve installation steps,
• check for required or adviced PHP modules at install time,
• check for plugin compatibility,
• members list filtering per group,
• etc...

Bugs have been fixed in this release, too.
